Now I know how it works. I've seen the pictures in the zip folder but I didn't know where to expect them...I thought that they are on the tab "labels" as the colsing "x" or I have to click there too.
Now I've found the icon on the status bar, clicked on it, and works the douplication. :) I don't really see how cold or should work the merge or paste function. The "cut" closes the active tab, and after "cut" or "copy" the "paste" loads the "cut or copied" tab instead the one on which I click on the "paste" icon at the status bar.
I find this useful too, but I expected mergeing means that it will load somehow two or more tabs into one. (Like a split or tiled/cascaded window.) I like your plugin, though it was hard to find out how it works without a preview or srceenshot.
I write down to you why would I search for a split window option, maybe you'll get intrested to create it.
I always looked for a sidebar form dictionary. In firefox I could somehow succeed to bring a ditionary or other page into the sidebar, but I always have to scroll vertically and horizontally in that to see the information, and even if I can set an optional position of the page I lose that for the next search.
The firefox 1.5 had an extension "panelsearch" which showed the search results in the sidebar, but I don't know wether that could do what I seek for. If there isn't any good sidebar dictionary, maybe a split window (two or more active tab) with some blocking of disposition in refresh would be a solution.
Gratulations for your works! |
