Replaces the paperclip icon with a document type icon.
It is based on the popular user script by Moktoipas.
If you want more document type icons to be added, let me know. I might hook you up. :) |

Protector0ne,
Thanks for creating the script! I'm afraid the script is not working for me. The installation was successful but when I enabled it, all attachment icons (paperclip) disappeared from Gmail's Inbox and individual message view (when you open a message). I didn't get the individual icons for pictures, videos (.wmv) and such. The only icon that was displayed for the paperclip icon for a PowerPoints slide (.pps).

I see your script supports a secured Gmail connection (HTTPS), so it might not be that. |

I think v1.1 fixes it. Can you try it again? Moktoipas' (whose icons I was borrowing) server was down, so I think that was the problem...
It supports slightly less document types now, but it only uses Google's own icons. |

Hi,
Now I'm just getting generic page icons, like those in IE's address bar but w/out the "e". |

| Do you get it for all attachment types, or only for images? I couldn't find a proper 'image'-icon on Google's server, so I used the blank page icon... :/ |

| The script now uses a slightly more suitable icon for images. I couldn't find any reasons why the script won't work. Could you please check what filetypes the attachments actually have? It works perfectly for me. :/ |

| Thanks for this handy script, but i´ve a question, how about video icons? |

| Yes, video icons are sorely missed. I couldn't find one on Google's servers. I'll look around some more, though. |

| V1.2 adds icons for video and multiple documents, and it has a different images icon. |

Protector0ne,
It works! I just reinstalled the new version and got picture icons for jpgs (I don't have gifs, png, bmp to check on these), a filmstrip for videos (mov and wmv) and a multiple page icon. Some jpgs were displayed as pictures though and PowerPoint slides show the generic paperclip icon (that's cool though since I don't get those attachments often).

Thanks for making the script! |

| About PowerPoint files, I forgot about .pps files. If you download 1.2.1, I think you'll find all PowerPoint files will get a corresponding icon as well. :) |

| Ok, it works great, but here is a icon file missing 'docx':'doc' |

Got the PowerPoint and zip files icons! I also noticed a music note icon for an .mp3 file I recently received!
Thanks Protector0ne!
